Just a quick December update for you regarding Cyrus...

Cyrus Phono Signature

The latest addition to the Cyrus range is now in stock at Fanthorpes in both silver and black.

Retailing at £1199 the Phono Signature is both moving magnet and moving coil. and is equipped with 4 single ended inputs, with balanced and single ended outputs.

Each of the four inputs can be accurately matched to the exact specification of the cartridge and the acoustic preference of the user. Adjustment is provided for MC cartridges in; gain, resistance and capacitance. In addition a switchable warp filter is provided to maximise amplifier performance.

The resistance and gain and capacitance can be altered from the front panel, and also from a remote control. There is a vu meter to help set gain.

Stereo 200

The latest power amplifier from Cyrus is a step in a new direction. priced at å£1749 the Cyrus Stereo 200 is a digital amplifier with an analogue power supply. In terms of performance it is a great upgrade on their previous workhorse, the x power.

Improvements include:

• More power , capable to drop to lower frequencies, controls the higher frequencies better.
• Creates a much stronger stereo image, portraying a more open and natural sound.
• Superior connection terminals
• Will impedance match to your speakers.

So more money but a much better amp.
