Hi everyone,

We'd like to take this time to thank you all for your continued and growing support throughout 2019, from everyone at Fanthorpes HiFi we wish you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

It is thanks to you, that we are able to do what we do, installing HiFi the length and breadth of the UK, be it an Innuos in Inverness or a pair of PMC Speakers in Penzance, most important to us is that you to get the HiFi upgrade you want.

With that in mind, in 2020 our aim is to share more with you. By giving our opinions on the latest products as they come into us, telling you more about our HiFi adventures and posting more of our preowned kit that we part exchange long the way. New In AV
Arcam AV Receivers
We now have the new Arcam AV Receiver range in stock. The new line up incorporates DIRAC room correction technology and support Dolby Atmos, DTS:X and IMAX Enhanced. Further features include 4K (UHD) HDMI 2.0b with HDCP2.2 ability, Bluetooth connectivity and seven HDMI inputs. GoogleCast streaming, which works with Arcam’s free MusicLife and Control apps, is standard across the range.

DIRAC Setup

We can offer a DIRAC set up serivce with the Arcam Receivers. Our fully trained installer can use DIRAC using a high quality specially calibrated microphone and the intelligent room analysis software linked to the new range of Arcam receivers. Full frequency sounds are passed into each speaker one at a time, in up to 9 positions in your room which are then picked up by the microphone and loaded into the software.

Aurender joins our portfolio as an alternative to the Innuos Music Streamers we supply.

At Aurender, all engineering and manufacturing is done in-house. Everything from circuit design to industrial design is meticulously engineered with a focus on performance and build quality. Through their in-house development, Aurender also created an award-winning App that simplifies access to your music library and to streaming services like Tidal, also allowing for easy diagnostics and support from Aurender if needed.

We have the N100 on permanent demonstration. Priced at £3099, the N100 greatly benefits from “trickle down” technology from the flagship models making them both deliver audio performance that belies their cost.
