Fanthorpes HiFi - The Week Ahead 5th - 10th August August 2019

Hey everyone, as always we have another busy week to look forward to with plenty of demos and installs on the cards.

The idea is to give you an insight into our working week here at Fanthorpes HiFi. With what demonstrations we are doing in store and in customers’ homes, services we offer, as well as give you an insight into the distances we travel over a working week.

Monday 5^th August

We have an in-store demonstration booked in Monday morning. This customer is looking at purchasing an Arcam AVR550 AV Receiver for his home cinema set up. He is specifically interested in how the AV Receiver performs in a stereo set up, the customer is bringing in his B&W Speakers, but we will have the AVR550 set up with a Project turntable and Arcam CDS50.

We also have a home audition in Sheffield in the afternoon. We are taking one of the new PS Audio DirectStream Power Plant 15 Mains Conditioner to a customer’s house.

Tuesday 6^th August

Tuesday we are set to have a visit from SCV Distribution. We’ll make sure the we have a mug of the finest Yorkshire tea ready! It’s always great to see members of the industry pop in, it allows us to turn our focus to a particular brand serving as a nice refresher course and to possibly learn about any new products on the horizon.

Wednesday 7^th August

Friday 9^th August

We have an interesting turntable demonstration booked in for Friday. This customer owns a big Luxman L-590AX II integrated amplifier and a pair of Klipsch Cornwall speakers and is looking to upgrade from his current Townshend Audio deck. We’ll have the AVID Sequel SP set up next to the SME Model 15 turntable, we can’t wait to see which one comes out on top.

Saturday 10^th August

We end the week with a local install in Hull. We are setting up a Musical Fidelity M2Si and a pair of Monitor Audio Silver 200 speakers.
