Luxman Launch Limited Edition L595 Amplifier

Luxman has announced the imminent launch of a limited edition L-595A integrated amplifier. The 95th birthday model, as the description says, will revive the look and feel of the L-570 series, which first hit the market in 1989.

It is a transistorized model, working entirely in class A, and has been modernized with new metalworking technologies in the design: a two-tone front panel, the lower part of the case is made of a separate piece. The amplifier section is based on the modern circuitry used by Luxman in amplifiers – the ODNF-u, delivering 30 watts per channel into 8 ohms and 60 watts into 4 ohms.

The power supply, in addition to the transformer, is equipped with independent capacitor banks for the right and left channels. A buffer stage, which helps to add power, is installed at the output of the preamp section.

An electronically controlled 88-point LECUA100 attenuator is responsible for sound control. The amplifier has four line inputs, one phono amplifier (both MM and MC cartridges are supported), and two balanced. Two pairs of acoustics can be connected to the amplifier at the same time.

The model will be released in a limited edition of 300 pieces. The cost of the anniversary Luxman L-595A will be £10999.
